I love your faces, they are really beautiful. I just started the same course and i just love it. I made one face, not quite the way she did, didn’t have the right materials, and i didn’t do the negative writing, but i just love how great my face ended up.
Your pages look just awesome and very vibrant, and i just love how every face has it own special caracter, great job. I need to start now the right way, just bought some crayons.

Good luck! My 6 1/2 year old Mini doxie LOVES stuffed analims. Like yours, she tears the stuffing out of them within minutes, but then she baby’s the body for months. I’ve got so many torn up bodies of toys around my house, but she plays with each and every one. And if it has a squeaker? Geez, look out. Those drive her nuts. She’s very destructive when it comes to her toys. I’ve spent lots of money searching for the best dachshund proof toy. Right now, her favorite toys are the stupid songbirds you can find at a lot of gift shops. She kills the voice box, rips the birds open to get the guts out. I’ve found that if you pre-gut the stuffed analims, it makes life a lot easier. I also had a 4 year old mini doxie (we just put her down over Thanksgiving weekend) had a 2 inch rubber ball with a jingle bell in it that she played with 24/7 (I’m not kidding). She would carry this ball around with her everywhere, even outside on potty breaks! Needless to say, we would replace the ball every few months after they got too chewed up.

If you think how to write for the blog it is easy for me, because I don’t speak English so well I need to shout with my writing just the basic think I did want to tell somebody who maybe is interested in similar thing. So I need to be short and I don’t know; the story just goes out. Usually I have a topic I want to share and then I just tell that and at the end there I need to go in to a Word for some spelling corrections, because my writing is even worse then what I think in my head). So there are a lot of mistakes, but hey I’m not perfect.
For writing in art journal, it is just a speech with you without thinking. You just have one thing in your mind and you write that down and then something else comes. Maybe the important is that your hand just needs to have a flow without any corrections. I never read my art journal pages, and if I will there are just a short moment of my life there….just talk with myself.
PS I actually like other journal pages when people have just one word there or just one sentence, but I don’t now how to do this the same. So on my pages have a lot of writing. Hey it is fun and that is the whole point. To have fun with it. Sometimes it is nice to look back to see what you did make. It always look impossible…you know; you did yourself a permition to enjoy and to have time just for you.
