My first flip doll that I design

Today it was a rainy day and my small one was a slip, so I could finished the flip doll. On one side is an owl and on another it is a mouse. I made the pattern for it and today I made my first test doll. I even didn’t bother to iron the fabric, because I joust want to finish it. I’m very pleased with it and I can’t wait for next doll that I have in my mind. I think this will be a series of flip dolls, and for all of them I plan to make pdf. photo tutorial pattern.

So my next homework is to found some more fabric pieces that are more color coordinated then the fabric that I use for my first test doll. Then I need to write a tutorial and this is it. I just need to put the pattern that I already draw to the computer and I hope I will found some people who will be interested for the pattern and they will make the doll for there kids.

I like the idea that parents could make the toys for there kids, I think this give the toy some special magic and every time you will see your kid with that toy you will feel the connection with your child. As they say: “The imagination is the key of the world”.So fingers cross, and I hope I will finish the pattern and tutorial next week.
