Jap, I should become a shoe designer, joke, but way not? This is so much fun job, with a lot of challenges. And I’m industrial designer, so I should just specialize in shoes.
The long story in short version? I have a small kid, and I sew for her almost everything, and the shoes are not exception. I admit, I love to sew slippers for her and then I want to make a new pattern for them. I made a few pairs of soft fabric shoes for the inside and I didn’t like the pattern so much. It’s not that it is hard to do them, but that model from inside never looks that it is finished. It look’s like that I should put another soft sole for cushioning as an additional part.
And then I start playing with the patterns and some how I didn’t finished them….and now I’m here with a brand new pattern. Its look finished from the outside and also from the inside. I like it also because it is easy to make something like that and it looks somehow something spatial, with the three folds on top of the shoe. I even think that if you use leather for the outside sole made from a little thicker leather you could wear these shoes in the summer. And if your kid doesn’t walk jet, this is good alternative for the hard soles shoes (you know my opinion about them: they are not good for the small developing feet’s). It all depends what kind of material you will chosen, and you could easily make from this shoe pattern slippers for your little one. I forgot to mention, that the folds are not there just for the look, but they also use as good space for little fingers. Designing for little feet’s if you have one at home is so much fun and enjoying because I know what you need for them. One more example is a heel tongue, so you will easily put the shoe on the feet.
Now I have just one problem. Because the proportions for little feet’s are totally different then for adults, I need to make an adult pattern model from scratch, because I like this model so much, that I want to have one pair for myself. I just remembered I want also have them for next summer for my outdoor shoes.
PS, as always when I put a new pattern out I’m so exited, that I need to tell this everybody. So I plan to make a video tutorial for it but I need to edit video first. So sometime next week I will have a video. See you again? Meanwhile you could get the pattern in my Etsy shop and my DaWanda shop.

These are so adorable! I love the pretty color.
