Crazy new solution for super cute shoes

You know I’m crazy about a hand sewing shoes, the fabric one and the leather one too. And I love designing new patterns; this is so much fun end enjoying crafts, almost like art itself. I’m not a shoe designer, but the ordinary industrial and fashion designer, so I don’t have a lot of experiences except my own trial and mistakes. Of course you could learn on that way, it just takes you longer to finish and to found the perfect result. Everything here is how to found the perfect solution….

The post should be about my new crazy idea how to make shoes that are made on the ordinary home sewing machines or by hand with a two needles method (if you missed my videos, go and watch them). So…my problems was what should I use for the sole part that I could wear the shoes also outside. And the solution is so simple I can’t believe it… the idea is to sew a perfect fit and comfy shoes with a lovely fabric or leather in my favorite pattern that I designed it. For the sole finished I will try to use a Rubberized Tool Dip like PLASTI-DIP. How simple is this? I didn’t decided jet if I will try to use this rubber in a liquid form or in a spray form. But this should be crazy good idea to try it. For the next spring and summer I think my wardrobe will be full of new house designer shoes, if I will have time to make them. I will get the new baby this January, and my first kid will be also together with me, so it is just a question of how much time I will have to spend on my shoes designs. But I have really a lot of new ideas about the patterns and I need to try them all.

So all my lovely shoe readers stay tuned in new year too.

But meanwhile, I decided to try to put my shoes on a BERNINA Party Through the Decades International Competition‘Party Through the Decades’ Inspiration: Marvel at the Musicals, the 1930’s – 50’s

I don’t know if they will expect the shoes, because the competition is about a inspiration from Party Through The Decades……….but, as always, if I don’t try I won’t know. My shoe design remained me on a movie like ‘Wizard of Oz’…especially if they are made in a shiny read fabric. The design is not an interpretation of that red shoes, but I need to admit, when I where them, I fill like I’m from a movie from that time. The feeling is so good and the shoes make me smile. My biggest excuse that I didn’t try to make a dress “Party Through the Decades” is that I’m pregnant, and don’t have a clue how big will be my figure after a childbirth and I didn’t want to make a dress for my closet. The prize is gorgeous sewing machine and one of the participants will get that, and of course everybody’s whish is to be the one, and I will admit, I’m not exception. So whish me luck and go to the BurdaStyle and leave there a vote for your favorite.

They are mostly made the same as this one:
