Free screen download illustrations for 2011

New month, new screen for download. Yey. By now I did manage to learn a few things, but it look’s like it is easy to follow the old habits, even if you know they are not so good. It is just the thing that it is in your comfort zone and very easy to do, and then I could found a tons of excuses….do you know the feeling?

The important think for next time is to stop doing art journaling with acrylic colors, because they made a plastic film and nothing goes on top of that, but I like acrylic and just don’t have enough time to finish the work just with them. Because lately I’m learning how to manage to paint in just between the small brakes, so I do something in just 5 minutes and then, maybe I found next time the whole hour for this…and after a few breaks the work is finished. But for this it is nice if you could work also with dray medium like crayons, or graphite pencil or color pencils…but all this stuff doesn’t like my acrylic for background.

The next think is, that I need to make “month illustration” before the actual month is starting…

Second picture…it is the best advice that I found for myself from other art journalist. It is to prepare your pages in front, and when you found a few minutes you are in the middle of page with already made backgrounds. The best tip ever, because I admit, that I did want to start making a new page, but not from the blank white paper, because I know I didn’t have enough time for it.

They are also the times, that I just want to write down some garbage from my head, but don’t have a place to do, because it is not nice to write on blank white paper if you already did try to have art journal page before. It is not something that you will wont to read, it is more that you like the process of doing journal itself. This is still the best part of all. Sometimes you just want to look on your old pretty pictures. Jep, don’t believe me, but you have a nice pictures in it. When you color all the journal pages just with a splash of color, before you even start to journaling, you get some kind of butterflies in your stomach, really the nice feeling, and with just plain blank journal full of colors. If you didn’t try it jet, do it now.

Where are your illustrations? What inspires you now?
