Nice headline isn’t it? I need to write this down, because otherwise my head will explode . Do you remember my article about my new hand knitting machine? Jap, I was excited, and I still am.
Today I started a new project with a big round loom knitting machine. This time I use a tin ropes in really nice blue color. The project will be a bag for books or for a veggie. And while I was knitting, new and new ideas are come in my head, so I write them down and I think they are really promising.
And there came the big idea, to write a book, not just a tutorial or two, but a whole book. I like craft books that have tutorials for 15 to 25 projects in them and I think I could do the same. The theme is how to use a knitting loom for a household projects, or for the things you need in the house….I’ m sure I could do something like that. All I need is realization of 15 to 25 projects, all the photos for them and also step by step photos, explanations and maybe the illustrations too.

For the final publishing I have two choices, the ordinary paper book (for something like that I will needed also a publisher) or I could make the E-book version,… a little bit more eco friendly. OK and I will need to have at least one person who will know the English. This is important too.

The main idea is to design projects that are new. Don’t want to write another book how to make a socks…. I want to play with different materials, like household ropes, raffia. I would also like to combine more materials. Do you like the idea of combination loom knitting and sewing with cotton, when you get the combination of plain maybe textural fabric and transparency of lace? Gorgeous isn’t it?

For now I need to go to sleep and then I need to Google for a loom knitting books, and after that if I will be still for it, I could started making new designs. This is really nice project to do. And the best thing is, I could do this together with my kid.
