loom knitting

Book publishing … the progress

I just came home from my cord shopping for my new loom knitting projects and I’m happy. I have enough cords for a while, and they are in colors. OK, not my favorite ones, because they didn’t have the orange, and apple green, but next week I could finally start knitting.
In this week I make a research and was working on a layout also, make my first Japanese stab book binding for my new small sketchbook, so some new experience; Thanks for YouTube. It is so convenient to have really small workspace for your projects, so you have a laptop on the same table like everything else. And it is really fine experience, watching video with something that you like and working along. The best part is, if something goes to fast, all you need is a pause button or repeat button.
At the end of the day I have new sketchbook, made from my A3 papers and a chocolate box. OK, the bad thing is I will watch this chocolate on the cover, but recently I’m so proud of myself if I could make something new from my garbage. Recycle and recycle some more if you can. This is my Moto for this year.
Save the money if it is possible, because I will spend it somewhere else. Important thing is to have a new sketch book and that I could start one new project, loom knitting and nice and cute fancy sketchbooks are expensive.

Isn’t this an article about a book publishing? OK, I lost my thread, or maybe two. I need to thing about my title for the book. I read somewhere that it is important to found a big word for it. Actually I have a few points in my sketchbook that I need to thing about:

  • target audience … in my case somebody who know the basic loom knitting
  • don’t underestimate the good presentation
  • quality is the important thing, not quantity
  • ebook cover – first impression is of huge importance
  • title; I need to found the big word for it
  • add excitements or exclusivity
  • and the last one: ebook is in fact full of facts! Need to be carful of this one, because I easily talk to much.

Of course all this I need to do with the right positive attitude and it is possible to achive a goal. Finished my first ebook.
At the end I really don’t know, which photo should I put in this article? The chocolate sketchbook, some recycle thing, or my test layout for the ebook?
