Easy – Peasy Photo Children Raincoat Tutorial

Raincoat for small children from 1.5 to 3 years

I made this really Easy – Peasy Photo Tutorial for Raincoat. It’s in two sizes 80 and 92 (for children from 1.5 to 3 years) and of course I made the pattern, but the best part is that I also made a step-by-step photo instructions.
This project is made from oil cloth and it is really easy, really, totally suitable for the beginner. Because it is so easy to make something like this I think everybody will make more then just one project, and of course you could use this pattern also for spring coat for our little one. I like the idea, that when you doing something new, new pattern for instance, that you could do it in just a little bit more time two projects, totally different if you use different fabric.

I’m really glad that I finished this project, because I was planning for this year to make at least 10 pdf. photo patterns, hope I will succeed. I was thinking what If I make new DaWanda shop just for my sewing patterns, of course I will not close my BluDor shop, I just think maybe it is time for me to focus on one big project. OK, I admit, I can’t work just on sewing patterns, because I’m interested in so many thinks. Maybe I will wait with this idea and make a few more patterns before I open a shop with new name. For now I need to write it down, the new name, because I don’t want to forget it. You know with all good ideas that you don’t write it down,…jap, what happened with that good stuff that you have in last year?

The exclusivity of my new shop will be the fact that I first made the concept of the shop and then I found the name for it and at the end all the products are made in this concept. The thing is: “the concept” is very clear and simple, and all that seem to work, at least with others. I have a whish to design new sewing patterns and I would like to make them so easy that even beginner will be excited about them, and here come the photo tutorial with all the instructions that you need.
I made a few photo instructions and I think they are good. The most famous for now is my Ikea Highchair Cushion. I also saw a few photos of finished project from a different people who living in different continents. This is huge. OK, I did not save the planet with this, but I thing I just make a few moms happier in their busy day.

I forgot to mention this: Yesterday I decided, that for all my pdf & photo tutorials, I need to design a badge or logo that I will put in the main picture. I was sketching a little bit and at the end I came up with idea for my button, the fabric button that have 3D engraved logo of the designer. I like the idea, but I’m not sure if this type of badge will be visible enough.
PS, this is a link to the PDF PATTERN with PHOTO INSTRUCTION!
Thank you if you read this and please leave a comment. Do you think I’m going in the right direction or you think I’m lost in the fog?
