Serger patchwork balloon girls skirt & A-line skirt & GIVEAWAY

Patchwork Tutorial Girl…. new pattern presentation and Giveaway, so stay tuned…. New pattern for girl’s balloon dress with A-line dress in the same pattern pack with photo step by step instructions. I’m a little bit lazy sewer, and at the same time I love my serger. Sew and finished the edge is something that I love, like and if I can I use it everywhere…also it is simple to use; just the perfect combination of everything. Of course I love my sewing machine too, so I did use it for a few topstitches. Don’t worry if you don’t have serger, the dress could be sewn with zig zag on ordinary mashie too. Also you could get different effect if your seams are not visible but are hidden inside of the dress. I really like to play with sewing and turned edges are fun to have and dress have now more feeling of a third dimension and it look almost like a origami in fabric.

Patchwork DIY SewingThis project is super fun and super easy (for beginners too) also you could use your fabric scraps or you could even recycle some sweaters. I did use cotton knitted fabric, but jersey for summer version is good to. The seams are visible, so it is like a drawing on a fabric with contrasted thread. So super fun and easy new skirt for my girl.

Patchwork Skirt PatternBecause small kids needs at least one pocket; I did put one on the skirt, and I finished the edge with a tunnel and some stronger thread with a few plastic beads (I want to be easy for washing).

Patchwork Skirt PatternPS it is also time for small Giveaway. So here it is. Three people who will leave a comment or suggestion about future projects that you want to found in my Tutorial Girl Shop on Etsy or my DaWanda Shop. I will pick three peoples on 10 April and send you the tutorial with patterns and all step by step photos.
