New Kid’s Boot Shoe Pattern from a Tutorial Girl bakery. Yey, I have it. It’s not totally new pattern for me, but I finally finished it so I could share it with you. Let’s start with a small Giveaway at the beginning. Leave me a comment or your idea of using material for this boot and maybe you could win a pattern for it?
This is so fast and simple project that even a beginner will finished it in an evening. I Love it, it’s my kid’s favorite slipper. My smaller Lana has them last year for the kindergarten and she was 2 and the best was she could put them on her feet and out too. So for me this was good design. She has a pink version and they were on her feet every day, until they became too small. She love it that first pair, and now last night she did want to go to the bed with the new one. Ela already ordered one more red fury pair for herself, and I have at least one more version in my mind for my “sewing pleasure”. Just pure fun it is with this pattern. All you need is just edge sewing with serger or zig zag stitch and then three more stitches and you are done. But you could play with it for an embellishment if you like….so really versatile pattern.
I also like the fact that seams are exposed and looks like a nice graphic fiture. Denim version (or one fabric layer version) could be made wear with two different stiles. And fake fur version could be also used as an leg warmers.
And if I admit, I could totally see these shoes from denim or canvas with rubber sole as a summer shoe. If the road is not wet, I could wear them easily. They look almost like espadrille boot. I should make an grownup size too. They are fun, and shoes need to be fun. That’s why we have always a new favorite pair of them.
PS for this year I plan to do a lot of shoes so stay tuned. I will do tons of other stuff to, but shoes are quite high on my priority list.
