Happy Feet Shoe Pattern in fabric with video demonstration

happy_shoe_pattern01Do you remember my super fun and funky Happy Feet Shoe Pattern? Gorgeous, do you agree? I love this pattern. So I did have one small wish to make them in a fabric version as indoor slippers. I did make video demonstration how I did make them. I will admit I did make everything that I like doing on this project. I did use old pants for the fabric, yes, I’m still not obsessed with denim, but it is nice and strong and I like to work with it. I did play with my sewing machine in a free motion stitch, doodles are something I never did, but I like to do them on a sewing machine. I never know what line I will make next, but hey, enough babbling from me. Here are pictures I could share, and if you have this pattern form before now it’s time to try to make a new shoe version. If you like my video and if you want to get the pattern, click on this Etsy or Craftsy  link. Yes, I’m allover the place. Why not? It’s fun.

And link from old leather version, if you are new on my blog; you have a video of leather demonstration there too. Enjoy.

PS do you like to recycle too? Isn’t that fun to do and eco friendly, and almost free? I love that.

PSS this is not the think I was thinking to make more about shoe learning process. This is my old wish I finally realize it, so more about shoes will come soon.
