New wrist glove wallet made by Tutorial Girl with two pockets. One big for the phone, keys and such and one smaller zipper pocket for coins…this pattern is also a part of Annual Pattern Subscription for 2014.
This wallet is just placed on your wrist the same as if you will wear gloves. Pattern instructions are as always made with a lot of step by step photos, so the pattern is suitable for beginner sewer too.
This time I did try how the wallet look if I do my magic with surface design. You know I’m a recycle girl, but hey that don’t mean I don’t like nice stuff. So here it is in my Delanni arty style. OK I still need to discover what my art style is, but if I can paint and sew that with top stitch, I’m quite happy.
If you know my last designs you already know why I like this type of wallets. They are just the best way to go and pick your kids and then go with them on a playground. I use it all the summer and also it’s perfect if you need to place a bus ticket somewhere (we have Visa size tickets, and it’s important that I don’t loose my card).
The sewing construction is simple and nice, without visible seams. I really like this.
Did I mention you could get the pattern in my Craftsy store?
One more idea I thing about it. I would like to try to make a painting with my “style” of art and then top stitch all the surface. The next step would be to make a really good quality photo and after that I wish to found a good quality print shop so I could pint my fabric and make some duplications. Or use the same fabric more then just one and exclusive way. I need to decide should I paint on fabric or on paper and then make a top stitch….
